Heraldy-Based Kits (1): CSKA Moscow

Today I start the first blog series, which will consist on various designs inspired by the Coat of Arms of the cities where the clubs belong to.

The first entry of this serie is CSKA Moscow. The kits have got dark red (the colour of the Coat of Arms), light blue and white.

Both kits present the symbol of the Coat of Arms (St. George and The Dragon) on the left top side, behind the badge, which is an old design used by the club.

Belgium Nike Home Kit

Today were unveiled the new Belgium kits made by Burrda, and the sensations about them have been a little bit bittersweet, so I decided to make my own designs for the 'Red Devils'.

The template of the design is the same used by Brazil for the Confederations Cup and used by Australia too (but for the 2014 World Cup).

The kit has the Belgiam flag on the collar and on the cuffs. As a remarkable thing, the design uses the old Belgium National Team logo, used during the 70's.

Saint-Etienne Le Coq Sportif Home Kit

AS Saint-Etienne is the French which has won most leagues (10), all between late 50's and early 80's. So, for this team I decided to make a design based on the kits of that glorious era.

The design is inspired by the kit used during the 70's, which also was made by Le Coq Sportif too. The shirt has the French flag on the collar and on the cuffs and has darker green pinstripes, the French flag is also present on the shorts and socks. The design has the current sponsor, but just with a white contour, to make it less "intrusive".

Heart of Midlothian FC Umbro Kits

For the kits of these Scottish club I have taken inspiration from two of the firsts kits used by them.

The brand I decided to use is Umbro, to celebrate their return to the world of football kits.

The home design is inpired by the 1877/78 kit. It uses a three shades of claret shirt, white shorts with blue stripes at the sides and hooped socks with white, red and blue.

The away design is inspired by the 1876/77 kit. It uses a hooped shirt with white, red and blue, and the same shorts and socks style than the home design.

Both designs use the current badge, which has been amended in order to make it look like the first club's badge (just a heart).

Paris Saint-Germain 2014/15 Nike Kits

After a month without uploading anything, the blog returns. Today I bring you the PSG kits mock-ups for the next season which I designed based on the leaked info.

The home kit draws away again from the classic PSG kit. The main colour is medium blue and it has a red and white band in the centre, surrounded by bigger dark blue bands. The "T's" over the shoulders and the cuffs are dark blue too.

The home kit has white as main colour. Introducing a "mandarin collar", a monochromatic badge (dark blue and silver) and dark blue cuffs and logos.

Merry Christmas

Today is Christmas Day, a day when the families meet together and have fun.
For this special day I've designed two kit for Real Madrid, my favourite football club. The designs have some snowflakes in watermark and the Adidas and Fly Emirates logos and the club first logo in a litle bit darker watermark.
Merry Christmas!

Real Madrid Adidas Kits

First, the last season, Adidas created a green third kit, in the current season, they had the idea of use orange as secondary colour in the home kit and as main colour in the third kit, and for the next season there is a rumour that the home kit will use pink as secondary colour and this too as main colour in the away kit...

Real Madrid is slowly losing its identity, so I decided to do these four designs (two for La Liga and two for the Champions League).

For La Liga kits I used the club's traditional colours (white and purple), with a classic-style template.

In the Champions League kits I inspired in the first kit used by Real Madrid, including the flag of Spain, and using the Adidas and Fly Emirates logos as watermark to give more importance to the club's logo.
